nice....mine didnt get such good comments on another forum...

I'm trying to be nice for a change :lol: What were your settings ?

# Exposure Time (1 / Shutter Speed) = 1/60 second ===> 0.01667 second
# Lens F-Number / F-Stop = 71/10 ===> ƒ/7.1
# Exposure Program = manual control (1)
# ISO Speed Ratings = 200

Good capture, but I might have gone with a bit faster shutter speed to stop some of the mud and ground so it doesn't just look like a brown blob/fuzz.

It's a wee bit dark too, you took this at 11am so the light was I'm sure a bit brighter, maybe. Just a thought.

ive added the blur in pp, many people are saying i should be shooting much faster if the car is coming head on as no matter what slow shutter i am using im unliekly to get motion blur

sun was in and out, he must be better than me!!

I prefer puyjapin to gsgary. It actually looks like the car is moving! No offence! But some motion blur for the background and some radial blur on the tires would make it look great. Otherwise both nice captures.

and no it was quite a gloomy day

Rallies are usually gloomy, the ones i shoot are in the woods so you only get light were there is a gap in the trees, try and find a spot were there is more light , that shot of mine was with my old 10D @ 1/80
same car again different rally 10D again at 1/50 i still use my 10D for rallies because it doesn't matter if it gets dirty

Ah that makes me excited for the Rally-America rally in 2 weeks! :)

it's a neat shot a bit orange and hazy imo
