Forget the Colours for 300 seconds

I like your shots, but I think you may be stuck in your comfort zone.
You clearly have an eye for composition and enjoy these long exposure shoreline shots - nothing wrong with that.

As for this one - it may be the size, but there seems to be too little in focus for me. Checking exif on flickr, this was shot at f6.3?
Seems like missed focus.

I may have made a 'tongue in cheek' comment a while back that said, you are clearly an expert with this type photo, can't wait for your next step.
As a newbie, I was no one to judge.
But, yes, what else can intrigue us with your skills? Comfort zone does not say 'stop' posting, just give us more to pleasure from you.
your photos are great, my comments are a newbs, 2 € worth...

Thanks for the comments! I actually feel I've only scratched the surface with my long exposure photography. I feel there's so much more room to grow and learn, so I would hardly call these comfort-zone shots. Rather they're me trying to work a bit more on my composiional skills while driving around and looking for new locations to shoot. I'm no expert. I have been shooting long exposure for just a year. i'll keep trying and hopefully post better ones for your critique.

Now don't you get out of your comfort zone. Stay.

I have the same problem. If like shooting still buildings, mostly at night, if I want to do portraits I suck immediately because it's not my cup of tea.
I keep doing the things I'm good in. And try to do as much as variation in it as possible.
Still have to do lots of other experiments withing this same zone.
