found this door while location scouting

Photoshops/GIMPs blur tool should make light work of that.

What is this place? No handle on the door, nothing but a single window above it, and some very strange wall structure. It's like something out of science fiction!

Did you try to crop the door out (so the whole bottom part of the pic, lets say 2 rows of stones above the door)? Cause when i hadnt scrolled down yet, i could only see the curves of the wall and the window and it looked pretty cool.

i can't be sure, but i think it was the museum of civilization in gatineau.

doenoe & abraxas: i liked the tones of the bushes in the bottom of the frame. originally, the bush on the left wasn't there - i'm happy no one noticed .
i'm thinking about using it as a composite background for a portrait of some sort.

Now that you mention it, the two bushes do look very "twin like".
But I felt the same as doenoe expressed: I liked the photo best when it's bottom part still wasn't showing on my screen, i.e. the entire part with WINDOW (as is), but WITHOUT door and double-bushes.
But hey. Your picture!!!
