$170 + shipping.

I just bought this from a Nikon Cafe member. I have decided to move to Aperture, so am selling this unopened, full version of Lightroom 3.

Thanks, John

As someone who owns both, I would suggest sticking with LR3. Apple still has not figured out how to keep the database from bloating. It doesn't matter how many libraries you create, it will eventually get so slow you spend too much time waiting for the beach ball to stop spinning. I will say that I love the work flow in Aperture much more, but the stability of LR3 wins me over.

Oh, you had to do this to me didn't you??? Just when I thought I had decided! Anyhow, LR3 is still for sale, but I may reconsider.

If it is unopened, why your photos on flickr were exported using Lightroom plug in?

If it is unopened, why your photos on flickr were exported using Lightroom plug in?

Several reasons:

1) I currently have Lightroom 2.7 on my Windows-based PC.

2) I am eagerly awaiting my new iMac i5 27" computer which is scheduled to be delivered via FedEx today.

3) Adobe does not allow upgrades from platform to platform. So to move to the Mac version of LR I had to purchase the full version.

4) Subsequent to my purchasing, Apple this week rolled out its new "Mac App Store". They are now selling Aperture 3 for $79. While it is not "all about price", I had been considering moving to Aperture anyhow (when it was $199).

Anticipating the next comment: Yes, I realize that moving from LR to Aperture is not straightforward and will not allow for me to maintain my edits. But I still will have LR 2.7 on the PC, so I am not trashing my past work.

Thanks, John
