Fun on a skateboard

Well I spent a bit of time in the park today trying to get a few action shots of the guys on their skateboards. Not much action going down today but I managed to grab this one guy on a few shots.

#1 and #4 are okay, but don't crop closer, just move closer to the subject. Work with them, I have never met a skater (or rider) that didn't want there photo taken! Plus if you make them look good they may want you to take photos for them someday if they are trying to get a sponsor.

This was the first time I had been to that park so I really was not sure of a good location to situate myself or the surroundings at all. I will try and make it back at some time to get another go at it

If your not sure were the best location is to get a good photo, ask one of the skaters they will know what will look good. Also go to a skateboard magazine website and look at their photos, it will help you figure out how to shoot sports like this.
