Actually, I selected the gate, made another layer, converted it to a line drawing, and then merged the layers to make the detail on the gate stand out a little better. Good eye there. I couldn't find a way to play it up more, without making it look unnatural.

One of the issues I am having is I fell that there is no depth. Everything is overly sharp and the stone just blends in with it self on the right side. That left out of focus stone could be eliminated from the frame as I find it a tad bit distracting.

I have done many stone walls such as this and I find it hard sometimes to process it and make it stand out or not stand out.

This looks like a very interesting place, do you mind telling where it is at? Looks like a scene out of Robin Hood…

Whats interesting about this is that the looking through the gate to the trees and greenery looks like a painting…that I like!
