A few pics from my trip in and around Suches, GA. last spring. What an awesome place to ride a bike! Maybe Tail of the Dragon next year. My apologies if I previously posted any of these pics.

Biking adventures are always fun & rewarding. "Tail of the Dragon"? Are you talking about that eleven mile stretch of twisting and winding road on the North Carolina and Tennessee border? If so, I was there several years ago. Its calling your name, Kirk!!!! You will love that ride. Here are a couple of pics from my trip there.

Cool pics and yes, that TOTD! Cool that you ride, also. (type bike? H.D.?) If I do go there it's going to be when there aren't as many racer wannabe's on bikes and in cars. I'm sure you understand.

Jeff, it was an awesome trip! It's beautiful with tons of twisty roads and mountains.

I understand perfectly about a road like that being overcrowded. You don't need someone being reckless darting around creating a situation. BTW, I had an '06 Honda VTX 1300CC. Stopped riding years ago - I was entering a right turn on a country road and there was a deer in the blind portion of the road. It spooked and rammed into my front wheel. Long story short it all happened so fast, it killed the deer, totaled my bike and - well fortunately I lived. I never replaced my bike or ever rode again, but it was loads of fun while I rode!!!!!

Suches is a beautiful area. I always like going through there when I'm going up towards the Tennessee area especially Chattanooga. Great photos as always.

Nice shots Kirk.Do you carry a spare motorbike in case your truck breaks down?

Thanks, I appreciate the comments and the humor. A BatBike is in the works and when completed, my truck will convert into a motorcycle but until then this will have to do. :bek181:

Seriously, the trip was too far to ride the bike all the way there (not a real comfortable cruiser like some) and way too much gear for such a sport bike sooooooo …….

great trip//you look like my pup in one of your photos..lol

Thanks! I'll take that as a compliment - me dog face. Most people give reference to me by a name denoting a dog's posterior. :boogie:
