On my walk yesterday I strayed to the edge of St. Louis' old Germantown which is hard to miss given this landmark. The neighborhood fell into decline decades ago, but is on the mend now that a large immigrant population of refugees from the Balkan War in the 90s has moved in and begun rebuilding. This was a restaurant years ago that had closed but is now back in business. Yep, the windmill turns.
