I have seen lots of people join our forum over the last couple of weeks but no posts on this thread.

Not everyone is comfortable opening a new thread in a new forum, or introducing themselves to a wide group of strangers. Lots of beginners are simply too shy, or don't want their lack of knowledge or gear to be judged.

It's up to all of us to continue to just be welcoming to all newcomers, especially those who are content to stay in certain forums, ie the Beginner's forum, to read and ask questions to help them learn.
