Hello,

Can someone explain how to get those warm colors like on those images attached below?

Is there any special trick when customizing white balance // postprocessing in photoshop or something else?

Which method is used? As far as I can see - low aperture, cloudy white balance (warm) + proper day light, but I'm still unable to get similar results with my Canon 550 D

Many thanks for help

What are you editing in? If you are using Lightroom, I can tell you an easy way to do it, but I'm not sure with Photoshop. I do the majority of my editing in Lightroom...

Quoted from the FAQs of TPF: "* You agree to only post images and/or other material to which you have exclusive copyright, or permission from the copyright holder that you are able to present to TPF Staff. Under no circumstances will any instance of copyright infringement be tolerated. "

You can post links to these pictures, however. I'm assuming the pictures you're trying to replicate aren't yours, so switching the photos to links is in your best interest.

ohh. i like. i will also like to know. (:

To me, they look like they have actions run on them.
Search Coffee shop blog for her actions, they are free and easy to use.

I had to go back and re-read the OP. I didn't realize they weren't his images and was thrown off when you posted this lol... I see it now though ;)

'Warm' is not exactly how I would describe those colors. Pastel maybe.

Looks like mostly PP to me... I haven't used LR in a long time, but I do remember stuff like this being fairly easy. You can get presets that do this, but I wouldn't pay for any - there are free ones just as good, and you can make your own easily.

I'm using photoshop.

What do you mean by PP?

So this is basically done in post processing?

Can we get a little bit closer - how this can be done?

@kudi: PP = Post Processing.

I do love how most everyone said it's easy to do but didn't mention a way to achieve it. -.-

Not sure is that what youre talking about, but in photoshop try:
Image/ adjustements/ photo filter. see if that help

If they're editing in RAW, Photoshop and Lightroom use the same raw editor.

I mentioned it is easy depending on which program you are using but didn't mention how to do it because I didn't want to waste my time telling him how to do it in one program when he uses another ;)

As far as them shooting in RAW, the OP doesn't specify how he is shooting (JPEG or RAW) so I didn't want to make any assumptions ;)
