Ghetto Girl in da Hood (apparently!)

Taken in pitch black with only the fixed flash for illumination.

Converted to b&w in P'Shop CS2. Tried to dampen down the wall in the background but I think it stands out too much. Boosted the contrast and added a vignette for 'atmosphere'.

Just off the cuff shot tbh. In retrospect, would have preferred her on the right of the photo, looking into the centre. Never mind.

Would appreciate any comments, criticisms or advice. :thumbup:

This would have been spot on if she were looking at the camera. The texture of the brick wall is very nice.

I'll certainly pass on the comments to my sister. She was actually dressed up for a chav or emo themed party!
