Spooky.....
thanks jeff.

Pretty cool, nice job. You play COD?
thanks k9kirk. no, i mostly play video games at work when we have downtime. nothing online or with other people cause that's frowned upon (we're an incident management center). finished assassins creed valhalla and cyberpunk in january. finally playing the outer worlds. looking forward to far cry 6, barring any further delay. how about you? cod or other games?

Old gamer, Played the first COD all the way up to COD4 Modern Warfare but got tired of the "run & gun" so I switched over to playing the Battlefield series games where you could use your brain to form strategies and drive/fly assorted vehicles. So much more fun and satisfying in every way. I bet Far Cry 6 will look real good. I'll have to check it out.

I think that turned out rather well. I like the dof.

After 20 years of playing game and only ever having finished 2 (kids games at that), I decided to stick in and try to finish a proper game. I used to play for a while, consistently get killed, get annoyed and give up.

I managed to get through 3 of the more recent Wolfenstein games at the end of last year and into the New Year and last week I completed Tom raider 2013. I'm currently approaching the final Boss on Rise of the Tombraider. Shadow of the Tombraider awaits after that.

I have loads of games downloaded via Steam and will try to churn through some of them too.

i've heard a lot of good things about battlefield. never played it. that's what i liked about ghost recon wildlands and far cry, there's so many options on how to tackle a fort. i usually go full on stealth/sniper. though the vehicle controls are horrible.

i use steam or gog, depending on who's cheaper. i get a lot of stuff on steam when it's on sale. sniper elite 4 is pretty easy (or can be much more difficult if you choose) and broken down into open world levels instead of one massive world. dishonored 1 & 2 are also a lot of fun and pretty easy to play. the dishonored games are about 20 hours to really explore, but they can be replayed over and over again. i slogged my way through the wolfenstein series, but i wasn't a big fan of the newer games.

I have Sniper Elite V2 and Ghost Warrior but haven't really played them that much. I also have both Dishonoured games and Death of the Outsider. Got quite far into the first on my last PC but haven't looked at them in the year or so I've had this one. I'm on the final boss now on Rise of the Tombraider but struggling to get by it. Once I do as I say I'll get into Shadow of the Tombraider and will revisit the Dishonoured and Sniper games. Also have Far Cry 4+5 and the Two Styx games to try as well.

Cheers;)

the first few sniper elite games were just ok. sniper elite 4 is a more like a game of chutes and ladders. the maps are more interesting and less linear. though the whole silent bullets thing kills me. dishonored is good. the dishonored 2 world is immersive, they definitely stepped up their game with world building. death of the outsider is the "end" of the series,. though arkane is now walking back the definitive end of the series and turning it into "on hold" and now in the past few days there's been some quiet whisperings. they've got a aaa game in development with the dishonored team.

i couldn't get ghost warrior 3 to run, too many bugs.

OK, I might have a look at Sniper 4 then. Thanks again.

there's a sniper elite 5 in the works. no definitive date yet.

far cry 4 is super easy to beat. in the intro you're having dinner with the antagonist. the rebels show up shooting, the antagonist says wait here. this is your cue to get up and sneak out. but if you wait there for about 15 minutes or so he comes back and takes you to the game ending. the game was ok, i didn't like how every faction choice sucked. far cry 5 was my favorite, just cause it was montana. the game was too short for me and i hated the ending. it didn't make sense at the time. it was followed up about a year later with far cry new dawn, where the ending now made sense but i didn't like that game as much as i liked fc5.
