Giant Pandas at Sichuan China

[goheer]

These shots were taken at Giant Panda research institute at the suburbs of Chengdu city, Sichuan, China. Sichuan is considered to have the largest population of living giant Pandas.

Giant pandas enjoying their meal of bamboo shoots. I was surprised to see that pandas peel the outer portion off with their teeth and eat the raw bamboo --- just like we eat the sugarcane.
