First photo looks like they are hiding away!

In the third photo, there seem to be some weird shade on the face and hand portion. Too much dodging/burning?

I just don't think you've captured the right moment.

1)too much of him not enough of her and you're too far away
2) not really a V-day moment as a portrait that could use slight fill flash
3)what was mentioned about her left hand, and his right needs to do something besides poking her gut. If the backround was a must then I would have put him on the right straight backed and her angled like she his...basically flip flopping them. Personal prefference I guess....or tightened up the frame and turned the camera clockwise 20-30 degrees...his heads' a little overexposed as well.
