There are (I think) nine glaciers terminating in Glacier Bay. The biggy, Grand Pacific, is a static one neither advancing or receding.

2.It is dirty looking @ the face, littered with gravel it has scoured off the mountains.

4. An Iceberg that has calved off the face, littered with gravel. The "muddy" water is from the silt off the Grand Pacific, the clear water behind is from the Margerie Glacier which is a clean blue glacier which I will feature in a separate thread.
