Beautiful colors, but I'm not sure about the orientation/crops.

#1 shows the colors to good advantage against a neutral background. Also, very good light.

#2 has a clashing, distracting background. Light producing glare on top.

#1 had the brown curtains behind it. #2, I opened the blinds and had the green grass behind... Yes, a little overblown, sun....

I can't tell you the artist. The wife picked them up at the local garden center, they are supposed to be put in the garden as decoration...
