Buckster,

I've shot from that vantage point a few times over the summer. Excellent photo!

Love the composition, love the fog, love the lights, love the reflection. Great job.

The only thing that seems a little off to me is the color of the bridge. It seems a little under-saturated to me. I remember it being a brighter gold/red color at night.

But great shot.

i like how the clouds hide the bridge, all teh technical elements are there too.. good job.. the only problem is there are probably about 20,000 pictures of the same angle. but it's a great one to keep for your personal collection

I have to disagree with that "its been overshot" concept. Some of my best selling shots are of the Grand Canyon, El Capitan and other "overshot" places. In fact, I recently sold 3 prints of my Cathedral Rock from Red Rock Crossing shot - probably the MOST shot location in all of the southwest.

I think in landscape work there are no two of the same shots. Lighting, weather, angles, etc. all change just slightly to give a very unique shot to each photographer.

But to each his own obviously.

Great composition and view..

Usually the bridge has too much construction and debris, and way too much traffic to make a decent photo even possible..

This approach eliminates all of that and brings back the grandeur of the bridge..........:D
