Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Using my Canon Powershot A430 4.0MP, I get very grainy pics when at an indoor swimming pool. I think it may be due to the moisture in the air. Is there anything I can do to reduce the grainyness?
Thanks,

if you're shooting in Auto the camera will adjust the ISO accordingly, likely to the highest number or most light sensitive setting, in this case 400, the larger the number the grainier it will be.

Yeah don't use any auto settings.
They don't work very well.

Take some time and get to know the manual settings and how they effect the image.
As was mentioned, the ISO setting is a big thing.

Take some sample shots with varied settings to get an idea of what settings work for different light levels.

It's been my experience that point and pray cameras don't come off decent shots easily.

This sounds like colour noise caused by the ISO setting chosen by the camera when on full auto/green mode.

Select the ISO manually if possible and try to keep it down as low as conditions will allow you to. If the shutter speed is now too long, then you will have to increase the ISO.

Some colour noise can be reduced by programs like Photoshop or Helicon Filter.

Thanks to everyone for the ISO suggestions. I'll look into it.
