I like the bunch grass and the longish shadows, but kind of wish the tree were brought more into play. Maybe if the camera were over to the right include it and have the shadows pointing to it.

I really like this one. I always have trouble with these desert views because I never can seem to get the light right, but I think you've nailed it. I see what abraxas is saying, but I think it works this way too.
