thank you i was trying to use the rule of thirds but should have made it more to the middle

With birds I tend to shoot them right in the middle and then crop the image later ... I've had too many shots where I am missing body parts.

I do that sometimes but with me i am perfectly fine with cropping a wing or other body part off of a animal if it is nice and sharp but thats just me
