I wasn't too sure about the background being 50/50 but as there wasn't anything I could do about it what with it being a quick grab shot

WOW. The composition, capture of this precise moment, and the colors. Oh, and the fact it makes me giggle. (for such a lovely and gracefull bird he/she looks almost klutzy)
