AHHH! It is done! And now, I may rest.
I made this Koi four times as I was not satisfied with the results (paper, wet folded paper, wet folded construction paper...). Finally, I made it out of aluminum foil and VOILA!

Three hours later, 274 photos and countless retouching later, the very final shot proved to be the best.

im confused on why you chose to use such a long shutter speed?

Low light. Knowing my camera, I can expose for several seconds at ISO 100-200 and not obtain noise (or very very little) Whereas ISO 800 gives me visible noise even at 1/40-1/60.

but i see you used a really small aperture. wouldn't an f stop such as f/8-f/11 suffice?

I did shoot at those f/ with the same set. I noticed that the tail or glass was not as crisp, even when focusing in the middle. I like these questions (seriously)
