From a technical perspective it's a nicely done photo.
From an art and composition perspective Griffith Observatory is kind of lost in the crowd with the buildings in the mid-ground being the first thing a viewers eye is drawn too.

A basic tenant of visual art proven effective over and over again over the last couple thousand years is "Light Advances, dark recedes."
In other words - separate your primary subject from the rest of a scene by making it brighter than the rest of the scene.

Had I not been primed by the title of your thread it's likely it would have taken some time to discover Griffith Observatory in the image frame of your photo.
