original post is entitled. safety first.

was titled--entitled means something else.

I'm not getting much from this shot. cant see his eyes so I can't factor his expression into the odd hand pose. The crop doesnt help here either.

From Entitled vs. titled - Grammarist

When they are synonymous with named or called, there is no substantive difference between entitled and titled. Some people object to this use entitled, but the objection is baseless. The use of entitled to mean named goes back centuries, and entitled was in fact the preferred term until recently. Google Books uncovers only 23 instances of the phrase “book titled” in works published in the 19th century, against some 31,000 instances of “book entitled.” (Titled in those days was much more often used to mean having a noble title.) This ngram, which graphs occurrence of the two phrases in English-language texts published from 1800 to 2000, shows that “book titled” did not gain significant ground until the second half of the 20th century:

I like the original title bester.

I think it's an interesting prop to use but, feel the hands are a bit misplaced and also too much is being lost to shadow. I don't quite get the concept or what you are trying to communicate here. Had there of been some emotion on the face, the result may have been very different but the dead pan expression gives nothing and the hands definitely compete with the rest of the image.

Also, hands can communicate a lot in an image. You only have to look at the hands of an inexperienced model to see her anxiety and awkwardness, despite a nice smile on her face. Body language can transmit a lot of information, so if you're going to put the hands as large as they are in the frame, make them say something about the mood/emotion being conveyed.

A wise guy from this forum (Designer) suggest not giving a title - or at least not always. That advice was given on my very first post in this forum which was not a bird :)

Maybe give the viewer a chance to do that.
No wrong or right, just another option.

well crap, that failed. I'll just have to dig on the period vs colon. :p
Watch it, buddy; there ain't nobody digging around my colon.

OP: Maybe a bit further out and portrait or square orientation?

I like it.

Your thread title makes me think you're feeling hurt by an earlier comment.

Let's move on.

Oh, a "wise guy" eh?

Give peace a chance.

Let it go.
