I got some nice shots of "Hank The Heron" this morning at the lake. I was practicing using the back button focus on my camera. Hank landed about 50 feet from my location. He must have known I wanted him to fly when all of sudden he took off. I began to shoot and here is a time set of photos. Hope you enjoy Hank as much as I do.

We have a pond in our front yard. Not a large pond and not a small pond. We have between 75 & 100 Koi fish. I was walking up the driveway to the street yesterday when I looked over to the pond & saw a large Great Blue Heron watching our fish. I think Hank followed me home.
