HDR Question

I have tried and tried and tried to do some HDR. Everytime I do it I do not get the wonderful texture that Woodsac gets in his works. http://www.thephotoforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=74220 I was just wondering how he gets the texture that make his pictures that much stronger.

first, how are you taking your shots? One raw? 3 RAWs? Tripod? Bracketing?

i am using a tripod, bracketing with 7 to 9 shots.

You'll never get the look Woodsac gets in his photos by just pressing the merge to HDR button. He does a lot of processing to get his shots to look the way he does, which is something he works hard to do. You can always send him a PM and maybe he'll share some of his techniques.
