I like #1. The red channel is a bit too blown in #2. I think correcting for color cast and pulling some of the detail from the hillside makes for a more compelling image.
I hope you don't object to the edit.

Nicely done! I relaly like the first one. The colors are nice. A clear sky would be better, but we can't control temperature
