Hi All,

Sharing some pics from a spin-off weekend trip to the charming UNESCO heritage town of Brugge. Everything is almost perfect here, the cobblestone pavements, peaceful canals, romantic bridges. Everything but the weather. *sigh*

#7 is the only one that really stood out to me. Great shot. Composition can be a bit sloppy (to me, see if others agree) in a few of them here...
Second would be a close call between #1 and #8.

With 7 I can almost feel how the weather would affect me if I was there. Reminds me of home.

I live quite close to Brugge and I can tell you not to get down about the weather. Winter and esp feb is a rough month for photos since all it does in Benelux is rain, rain, and more rain.

That is, I assume, why your skys are completely white. A lot of times, in such weather, I switch to B+W since there's not a lot of color to be had around here

Still, you did a very good job considering the weather.

Best shot by far, I think is#8 with a close second to #7

Well done

For #1 4 5 & 6 I think you need to work on the composition. I'd have liked to see a little wider angle lens used, esp with #1. I'd also recommend looking at B+W for the shots since I find the pure white sky a little distracting in a color image.

Ohters didn't really do much for me.#3 really is much too snapshotty -- although I guess if this was a nice vacation for you, maybe that was OK

Also, looks like you bumped up the saturation. Really made the colors pop -- very well done.

Oh, if you're in the area come back in a month or two. Then Brugge is BEAUTIFUL, and the skys are clear.

Also check out Ghent.
