Hello... and help!

Hi, after a while of lurking and soaking up all the information TPF has to offer, I want to introduce myself and start posting some photos.

However, I'm a technology dummy, and can't seem to figure out how to download pictures... can I use JPEG images? When I tried to "insert image", I copied-and-pasted my JPEG file name, and came up with a little red x. Not quite what I had in mind. :er:

So... is this the right place to ask this question?
