Hello everyone, I am new to this forum, I am a frequent on many car forums but never been on any photo forum, so thanks to the Google Search i have found you guys.

A little about me.

I am not a professional photographer, so that means when i post up pictures you guys are welcome to give me feedback.

I have been taking pictures off and on for a few years. Started in High school with Film, and then got out of it for 5 or so years then got a D3000 and started again with digital. It didint take long to get sick of the D3000 so i bought a used D2X and used that for a while, then upgraded to a D300 and used that for a couple years, and recently got a D600. I went back and fourth on D600 VS D800 read a lot of posts between the 2, i went with the D600 because it seemed like a better fit.

I usually take pictures when i'm out exploring Puerto Rico, or at the Track in AZ or where ever.

Other than photography, I enjoy music, cars, and Bikes.

Anyways, hopefully I can get some good feedback and become a better photographer and contribute where i can.

BTW anyone in PR hit me up.

-Jon

Welcome to the site.

Hey man, I'm from Puerto Rico too. I am a beginner, got a T3i very recently but before that I messed around with my cousins T2i for about 2 months, which is where I learned some very basic things. I am into action sports photography and I also like nature and landscape. What part of PR are you from?

Hi and welcome to the site.
Love PR especially the rain forest.
great bunch here.

There are a lot of cool places to shoot in PR. I am living in Humacao.

How are you liking your Canon?

You're not to far, I live in Gurabo. I live it, I took my first real pictures today and I am happy. I'll post them up soon for constructive criticism.

I am not good with surrounding towns so im sure your close but i don't know where that is in relation to me. But sometime we should go shoot. Have you posted your pics up yet if so where?

So where are some good places you have been to shoot in PR. I have been to Rian Forest, the batanical garden, some place in Caguas with a parrot and butterfly thing, Dorado, and around Palmas. I work a lot so limited on time and it rains a lot so weather makes it dificult.

Haven't been able to go to many places as I just got my own camera. Gurabo is the town right next to Caguas. So Fri. Your direction it would be Humacao to Las Piedras, then Juncos, then Gurabo, and finally Caguas. If you take 30 of course. By the way, do you know of any specific camera stores?
