Help ASUS Transformer laptop dying[emoji35]

I am looking for a lighter weight 13 - 15 inch lap Top to take with me while I travel and use as my primary photography unit that can hold newest Photoshop & Lightbox. Do I need 16GB's, gaming computer? 1TB DHD, NVAID graphics card, SSHD, I think an Intel 5 newest generation is fine.... But what about a realistic screen for editing? So dang confusing!!! Thanks in advance.

I think I've tried every brand of windows laptop in the industry including ASUS. I wear them out in about a year and a half. My last two have been from Acer. They have done better than ASUS or HP or any other I've tried. I don't know how the line will serve your needs but they seem to be made better than the more popular brands.

Seem likes the beefy and faster laptops tend wear out faster because these require a lot more heat, that means bigger cooling fans for CPUs and graphic cards.

Yup, that is so true and then the fans mean it bigger, heavier and BULKY!

Have you considered moving to Mac? I hesitated quite a while, but I've never regretted the switch. I had to replace my Macbook Pro after 8 years, and that was because of water damage.
