Help! Difference between Hoya softeners?

I'm looking to get a 67mm diffuser/softener for my 70-200 f/4L but I'm trying to figure out what the difference is between the various diffusers Hoya offers. I've seen both "A" and "1B" for sale so far, I assume one has more effect than another, but I'm looking for a pretty minimal effect.

I can't help you, I only use Downy or Bounce softeners. Just make sure you add it at the right part of the wash cycle or else it won't work right.
