help with contest

Hi all,

One of my photos was selected as a finalist in a local photo contest. I am one of eight in the running. At this point, it is up for a vote so if you are feeling generous, throw me a vote. My picture is of the staircase which I shot in a penitentiary that has closed down. My name is John Laframboise for the voting. Here's the link.

Personally, I think an image should be judged on it's merits, not be part of a popularity contest.

No need to apologize. I agree with you and I thought when I entered that it was going to be judged and not voted on. Perhaps I should have worded my request differently. Rather than voting for me by default, if everyone could just check out the link and vote for the photograph that they feel is the best one. At least that way by exposing it to a lot more people, the best photo will hopefully win. If it's mine, great. If not, that's cool too.
