Wait. I think I understand. Are you asking why the forum says there are 38,000 threads but it only shows five pages worth?

If so it's an easy fix. Click on User CP at the top of the page, then click on "Edit Options" on the left side of the screen. Scroll down to the third block of options(Thread Display Options) to "Default Thread Age Cut Off" In the drop down menu select "Show All Threads."

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes."
