Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
ok i got my camera today i am trying to uplaod some of the pics i took and its saying there uploaded but im not seeing them in my gallery

Camera type? Pc or mac? Program used?

If you want to show then in your posts, just upload them directly by hitting the IMG button (picture of tree in a frame).

Uploaded to where? If you had them on the card and transferred them to your PC, they should be there. Quick test if you're using something like Zoom-Ex would be to check your options and see if they are "automatically downloaded" to _____drive. If you loaded them onto a sharing site, they may be there, close out and try logging back into it...

Sorry if this isn't what you were after.

its showing me the pics in the folder but when i go to upload them here they say uploaded but they arent showing up in my photo gallery

Nikon D3100 its saying my images are to big to upload

Did you resize and/or compress them? Or are they straight from camera?

The images right from the camera are going to be huge, compared to the resolution of a computer monitor. You should open them in an image editing program and resize them to something smaller than 1000 pixels wide, then 'save-as' to make a copy for uploading.

Are you trying to upload the image in it's original file size, or have you resized it and trying to upload the smaller version?

That happens to me a lot. I go into PS and resize (4x6 inches or vice-versa) and down the resolution to 300 of my photos. The site has never accepts my orginal jpegs. Probably someone else can help you a better way. I just determine this on my own. Also, I number my photo's. Just type a number press return and then upload the photo. I learned that is easier for people to refer to your photos. Good luck:)

When you resize it, be sure to rename it to another filename. Otherwise, you'll lose the resolution of the original by overwriting it with the smaller image.
