Photos OK to edit
This is SOOC and nothing done to it and I am not sure what to do to help the belly situation, i have tried warping and liquify and cant get desired results. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Oh Corrie. I love your work, but this one should go straight to the trash bin. It is in no way, shape, or form flattering. This pose is beyond salvageable. I could barely make out what the image was supposed to be of because of the matching clothing colors. I am still not sure what type of shirt or pants she is wearing. Can you reshoot or do you have other images?

What she said.

Kathy.. really? Hon you really need to stop sugar coating this stuff so much.. lol

I'm afraid to say it Corrie but I'm going to have to go with Kathy on this one, I don't see how you can photoshop this one enough to make it a keeper. The idea isn't a bad one, but the execution just isn't there...

Also his one finger is giving a little "how ya doing there". Or at least appears to be.

And this is why I haven't attempted maternity photography! :) I don't find this flattering one bit either. If I had to use this photo I might try to crop it, but I'm not sure you'll come up with something usable. Good luck!

Im actually not going to use this one but wanted you to see a close up of what was going on.......this hang belly thing is in all of them......some of them when she is fully covered then i can actually pull a part of the belly out. but there are some where there is this problem and I don't know what to do............she wanted bare belly shots but this is the problem in ALL of them........do i try and fix it or just leave belly like that?

Okay guys I totally understand what you are saying but this particular image isn't the problem.....this is the SAME problem in ALL of the images...........she can't possibly be denied maternity images because she is larger.

Okay so here are some others that i have edited....first one completely okay and happy with.........second one still not 100% satisfied with it and it was A LOT of time spent into it and she wanted this image, brought the candy canes and all. I just want to make it work for her somehow because it just isn't fair that because she is big this can't work...........so stressed out right now

Much better. I think these are adorable. (oh the dreaded heart shaped stuff)
The thing about larger, pregnant ladies is that posing is EVERYTHING. You could have changed angles, kept the pants up higher, and shot tighter in camera to get the best features. The candy cane shot could be worked on a bit more. I would do some more smoothing and liquefying before I handed it over.

Well I don't think it's the size here that presents the problem per see, it's the pose. In most of the better pregnancy pictures I've seen generally you'll see the mom supporting her belly with her hands, her arms convieniently hiding the skin folds underneath the belly. Either that or there will be a robe used to conceal that portion of the belly, it's far more flattering.

You might want to do a quick search for pregnancy photos and see some examples.

Corrie has been around long enough to know that I am a fan of her work, and I hope she knows I am just trying to be as honest as possible for her benefit. I would help her in any way possible if I could.

okay ill say it one more time............. the Mom wanted this photo and I am TRYING to make it work for her! I asked for help on how to get this particular photo right for her. I did not ask for critique on this photo nor did i ask for direction on my maternity posing. But thanks so much for the kind gesture and offer to direct me! ♥
