Yeah, this was literally a snap shot. I was photographing the bird in the reeds near by, I stopped shooting to change some settings when I heard the sound of wings...

I didnt even get a chance to look through the viewfinder, I just pointed it in the direction of the bird and tripped the shutter....

Personally, the bird out of the frame shows the "take off"
