The Horicon marsh is one of the largest inland fresh water marshes. It is 33,000 acres with hiking trails and dikes. It was established for its nesting values for the Redhead ducks. It holds the 3rd. largest nesting population of Redheads east of the Mississippi river. Here are some photos from my hike, but there is a lot more than just Redhead ducks. I hope you enjoy.
