My wife's caryopteris have started to bloom. I went out this afternoon to get some photos of the flowers, but the critters love the stuff. I got stung on the foot and I couldn't get a clear shot of the flowers between shooing of the bees and whatever this is -- so I settled for this and I'll try again for the flowers when my foot stops hurting.

The blue flowers that are oof in the lover background are essentially the same color and brightness as the in-focus flowers and they are contiguous and confusing to the eye
And I think the main subject flowers are a bit over-exposed.
