Taking photos of trees and making the interesting to view to others is one of the harder area of photography I think. Its much harder to get a shot that really carries the message over - I am still slowly working on getting this right myself.
Exposure is good though it looks to have been a bright day nad some areas of your foreground a looking like they are overexposed and losing details - you could try shooting with a polarizer which would help counter the bright light .
