Kept coming back to this before I commented. I like the B&W conversion, and had I not seen the color version first, I would have said this was the winner. For me I still favor the wonderful tone of the color.

You're right, you do get to see much more detail with the removal of colour!

Yup, both really fantastic shots. I particularly like how the whites look silver on this one, it adds a vibrant sheen to the shot.
