House Of The Dead.

I like this image but think it's a bit tight. Was it possible to shoot wider with the house (of the dead) placed in the rule of third perhaps? I do like the way you processed this picture.

Yes I could have shot this wider I just was thinking it may be to busy with shrubs and trees and other head stones. I could always go back a re shoot it wider. Thank you for your comments.

Agree with bat. a bit less tight would improve the perspective and not loose the effect. Even as it is, this shot has the effect i think you were looking for - a mixture of eerie and surreal - but repositioning it might make it even better.

Philosophically, that title could be taken several different ways... lol! (oops.. too much tequila, I should quit posting!)

Also too many distracting elements up front and the color.. odd.... did you tint it, or is the tequila causing that green tint?

LOL. I converted B&W from color and no I did not tint. I don't see green tint though. maybe I need to drink tequila and then look at it or maybe it is green and need to drink tequila and do a re-shot. Last time I had tequila I passed out in the car in the cold winter months and woke up many hours later soaked in sweat from the heater and burned half of tank of gas.

Hornitos es me amigo! Muy fina! lol!

DarkShadow, how did you process this image? The white of the building looks perfect.

I shot in jpeg then converted to B&W from color. I brought the shadow slider up and a little fill light and left the contrast alone with a little sharpening. I think that's all I did.

Really? Photoshop color sampler tool centered on walls on either side of doors

A good non-blown out white is around 24,240,240.... this is grey! 168,177,176

Although it does fit the title.. it is NOT white! ;)

So are you saying it's not green now, that tequila wore off. I agree with the greyish and thanks Charlie and everyone for the C&C, I appreciated it more then words can say.
