How do i adjust my blog to this width and be able to post pictures this large? Detai

i also want to do photography and i love this site.
how do i resize my blogger to accomidate large pictures like this?
I know how to change the px to 900 and 1200 but when i upload them through photobucket,
part of the right side of the image is cut off even when i switch to minima stretch template..
any help please please please here is link to site i am talking about
