How Long of Wait for Nikon 70-200mm VRII

So, Nikon announced the release date for the 70-200 VRII to be Oct. 27th for UK. I ordered mine mid october, any thoughts on when I would actually get mine? I ordered it off of amazon!

Last I heard the D3s and 70-200 were hitting shelves in mid January.
