Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Can anyone possibly explain to me step by step how to create the HDR effect in Photoshop Elements 11. I am fairly new to photoshop, I used to use a free basic editor online which had an HDR effect installed in, click and the photograph would turn HDR however I am now wanting to create manual HDR photographs but I have no idea how to create the desired effect. If anyone could do a step by step tutorial for me, I'd really appreciate it. I also struggle to find Photoshop Elements tutorials as the majority seem to use CS4 and the likes. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you :)

Manual HDR is made by making multiple images of a high dynamic range scene and then blending them together post process.
It takes at least 3 exposures - one to properly expose the highlights in the scene, one to properly expose the shadows in the scene, and one to properly expose the mid-range of the scene.

The professional grades of Photoshop have gotten better for blending multiple exposures for making HDR images, but Photomatix Pro and a couple of other dedicated HDR software applications do a better job.

In fact, many of the best HDRs are made using a dedicated HDR application, and a pro grade version of Photoshop. The combined images are moved back and forth between the 2 applications several times before it becomes a finished image.
