I came accross this forum while searching for info on a new camera i just purchased (Nikon D300s).
I have been into photography since the late 80s. Started with a Minolta X570 (still have it
). Purchased a Nikon D50 when it first came out, and have been doing a lot of self learning. I have taken a few classes at Rhode Island School of Design, Trying to learn a bit more on dealing with different lighting situations.
Anyway, after perusing the forum i decided to join!
