For curiosity's sake and a free bump, why a D3x over this? It seems like a downgrade?

It suits my shooting style much better.
I am more of a hand holding, shot-from-the-hip sort of shooter.
Ultimatly the Hass/Leaf quality is better but that doesn't mean much to me if I don't actually use the camera much as I haven't.

For curiosity's sake and a free bump, why a D3x over this? It seems like a downgrade?
