    It might be a Buff-Tailed Coronet (Boissonneaua flavescens). The green colouration, white dot behind the eye and the white plumes around the feet certainly point in that direction.

    Thanks for the identification, Larry don't you get humming birds in Texas? I thought everywhere from Alaska to Argentina got them.
