I think their pretty good. I really like the last two. Great composition on the last one, it's like something from a movie. The first two are ok but I can't really put my finger on whats wrong with them. 2 seems like the wall in front is what you focused on instead of the door or sign and for the 1st one the color just doesn't sit right with me.

Not bad my friend. Keep working at it.

Thanks for your reply's. I agree with you. I had my doubts about the 1st one and I putted it here for the feedback.

The first one appears to be an HDR rendering because something is odd with the color of the sky. Other than that they aren't bad.

Ask yourself one question though ... The title of the set is "My Country". If you had never been to Malta and viewed these photographs would they give a true representation of your country? Are these shots what you think of when you think of your country? If you can answer "Yes" to this question then you have acheived your goal.

#1: The brick wall appears over-exposed to me, and therefore washed-out. Given that you were shooting with the full sun, the contrast is very high, and you have to decide whether the highlights or the shadows need to be preserved. If you have Lightroom or a similar photo-editing program, consider adjusting the curves to lower the brightness value on the high side. The sky could have been darkened with a polarizer. In terms of composition and framing, you have a lot of lines, but they all converge on a blank wall. The archway visible at the top of the image has promise, but it is not used effectively to frame the image. With this scene, you have to decide what the main focal point should be and then compose accordingly. As it is, there are many interesting elements, but they don't work together to make a compelling image.

#2: Better framing, but the right wall looks like it is falling in or at least leaning to the left. The reflected light is beautiful. The slight appearance of the wall at the left does not contribute to the image. I find the image somewhat soft, and would have loved to see more texture visible in the bricks to the right of the main doorway.

#3: Very nice detail. If there is a nit to pick, it would be to bring the hinge at the lower left slightly higher into the image.

#4: Nice tonality in the car and the background is suitably high-key. However, the horizon is tilted to the right, and the tree is growing out of the car's top. A somewhat better positioning would have been to place the tree a bit more to the left of the car so that the car is "sheltered" under the branch of the tree.

#5: Beautiful. Here, the bright sunlight on the ground is overexposed, and could be lowered by a stop or so, while the reflected light still being strong enough not to be too dark.

Wow thank you for your great feedback! To my perspective these are the things that make my country authentic. Pigriz thanks for pointing out those things in great detail.

Too many to comment in detail, but here are some. The first two have tilt/perspective problems and are a little uncomfortable to look at for that reason. I like the third quite a bit, but would crop the top to make it square and darken the mid-tones some. In the last two, I'm not really sure what to focus on; I think these contain some interesting elements, but need cropping or re-framing.
