I need help to find out what this lens is and if it'll work on my nikon

I bought a lens for my nikon d3000 listed here: Pro AF Macro Zoom Lens f:1.3-4.5 28-70mm | eBay

I hope it works, if not, it was only $25. I got it because I need a macro lens for my nikon. I would like to know what this is and I would like to read reviews on this lens.

I typed the name listed on ebay and it didn't give me any helpful links.

The main thing I want is to find some links to reviews on this lens. and to know if it will work on my nikon d3000. Can anyone help?

worked for me too. I have no I idea on the lens though, don't see any specific markings on it. Although it does resemble nikon type lenses. I don't know much about non-nikon glass. lol

Finally it works, well it looks like a Nikon mount from the pictures, as far as quality well its 25$ dollars worth

It is a Nikon F-mount with electronic contacts, but it has screwdriver focusing (I can see the drive screw head on the rear of the lens), so it will not autofocus on a D3000 or D3100 or D5000 or D40 or D60.

Then it wouldn't even be worth $25. I would return it because of false advertisement.

Looks like a Sigma AF 28-70mm f/3.5-4.5 UC lens for Nikon.
I think it is the first generation UC model.
